The Supporting of TroopsIs there a law in America that makes it illegal to not support our troops? I have never heard one person in my life say they are against the troops. We all support the troops (collective name for monkeys incidentally ~ I prefer soldiers) with our tax dollars whether we like it or not but why do I hear so many liberals and democrats supporting our troops when they are opposed to the war they are fighting? My guess is that the patriotic brainwashing that occurs during our schooling experience with our Hitleresque salute to the flag accompanied with the pledge of allegiance makes it almost impossible to oppose the men and women who fight for our country - no matter what the mission is. When one views the madrasas - apparently used for recruiting soldiers for Al Qaeda and the Jihad - there is an eery similarity to our children lined up, saluting the flag. I'm sorry liberals, you cannot have your cake and eat it. You cannot oppose a war and support the people who are fighting it. Our soldiers leave their families, occupy nations and as recent history tells us, torture, humilate and beat to death often innocent people. I'm sure there are many that still believe in their ever changing mission and are upstanding citizens who are humanitarians but the fact remains, we have collectively opened the gates of hell in Iraq and our soldiers - who had every chance to put down their weapons after learning of the administration's deceipt - have continued their occupation and at times brutality of the Iraqi people. The 6.000 soldiers who have gone AWOL since the invasion are my heroes. I'll support them. I will not support actively engaged soldiers in Iraq. Bring them home.

We are in the wrong place....
This war was in retaliation for an attempt on the life of the Bush in Kennybunkport....By his son.
Now that our resourses and military are stretched thin, Osammaassshole has rebuilt and is rebuilding a formidable enemy...
Here is script from your news
(The new director of national intelligence said yesterday that the United States is "very concerned" that Osama bin Laden and the al-Qaeda [al-CIAduh] leadership are attempting to rebuild their terrorist network )
They admittedly are the ones responsable for 9/11 deaths are still occuring to the ground zero rescuer's.
Lets NOT spend Billions for Haliburtin to build power plants and bathrooms. Make a Moon Scape out of Afganastan and shoot anyone left walking toward us.
Do not pull the funds from our troups, it is like taking the bullets away from them,
I am Against this PORTION of the war...I support our troups, Bring them home safely and with honor. Its an administration F#%@ UP.

Long live the "Captain"
You guys are ok sometimes too!
Can anyone make sense out of the Captain's comment? In spite of their incoherence he seems to be striving for understanding. What does he mean by "this portion of the war".? The part we are losing? He reflects anger at the waste of Halliburton, but shares the war contractors values in wanting to make a "moonscape" out of Afghanastan. Doesn't he realize the contractors are rubbing their hands at the rebuilding contracts they would enjoy by that tatic? I do believe that the Captain has the pieces of a rational picture but he needs to have another try at assembling them into a believable plan. I do hope he continues to work on this as all opinions are valuable in improving our own perceptions and I certainly need that too. Best regards, and yes, Long Live the Captain! Long may he waver! Best Wishes from "Working Stiff"
