Somnambulism. What a delightful word. It is the act of sleep-walking or other such motor reactions during sleep. I start this blog with that word because it fairly accurately describes what the common American is doing every day. This phenomenen is not just an American disease but it is is far more common here bacause of a well organized education system and a media that acts as a follow up educator and mouthpiece for the government and the ruling class. As a result, we all meet people on a daily basis that hold bizarre views that are not based in reality or logic. These people lack the abilty to think for themselves or think outside of the box. Instead, they are told what to think and they parrot this information to friends and colleagues often with no supporting arguement when challenged. That is why this is the easiest country in which to sell a war. Wave the flag, create the fear and attack the enemy. Brainwashing 101. It is thus not surprising to hear that the soldiers in Iraq are given a fairly strict daily dose of Fox news to keep them thinking along the right lines. Play PBS all day and you have lost your army. But now we know the actors/politicians that sold us this last foreign invasion lied to us to get us in there, why do we believe anything they or any previous government has told us. Was Hiroshima REALLY necessary to end the war or was it already over as most Europeans believe after studying history? Did 15 muslims REALLY hijack planes (on the only day our jets were playing games in Canada - organized by Cheney) and flew them effortlessly into national landmarks? As a number of the named hijackers were interviewed shortly after, the official story is simply not credible. If you really want to learn more about the 9-11 plot, empty your mind of any preconceptions and remove that brainwashing before looking at 'Loose Change' on You Tube. The most complete deconstruction of 9-11 there is today and shreds the official story to pieces. As 9-11 was the launch pad for our double invasion, it is not hard to see why the elite needed this event. No 9-11, no second term. No 9-11, no $750bn Iraqi contract fest. No 9-11, no army big enough to carry out the job (When I hear and read about soldiers who have returned from Iraq, most of them say they signed up days after 9-11). No 9-11, no PATRIOT act and none of the siblings. Please take a look at 'Loose Change' so that you may encourage enough 'clean' Democrats to hold an independent inquiry and finally bring the terrorists to justice.
