Dear Mr. President: We, the democrats, wish to express our admiration for your steadfast support for some of our donors in Iraq. As a favor to them and indeed to you, we would like to remove any timelines of withdrawal and instead have you help us appease our ground staff that won us the mid-terms by raising the minimum wage. This way, we can improve the way of life for millions of immigrants in exchange for more Americans dying on the sandy wastelands of Iraq.

Dear Mr. President: We find your arrogance completely anti-American and if you do not sign the bill that sets timelines for complete withdrawal from Iraq, we will impeach you and demand that you answer some fundamental questions about 9-11 and Iraq. We will ask why you stonewalled requests for an independent inquiry into 9-11. Why did you attend a private question session hand in hand with Dick Cheney? Why did Dick Cheney wrestle away the powers to control America's defences before 9-11 and chose to send them to Canada on the morning of 9-11?

Here are two options the democrats had in the past week or so. But as we all know, the dems are as corrupt as the republicans - they are just more unlikely to see it in themselves.
