The "I" word…it’s hanging over the head of every president since Nixon. George W. "Junior" Bush is now exception. After the fiasco of the 2004 election, I was willing to allow Junior to finish his second term and concentrate on House and Senate elections and the 2008 presidential election. I looked at impeaching him as the equivalent of ejecting a baseball player with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. What’s punishment; not getting to take a shower?
However, with less than two years left in his term, Junior is more dangerous than ever. From his disregard of the constitution to his desire for an expanded war in the Middle East, his presidency threatens the freedom within this nation and the security of the world at large. But the most disturbing of all, is the corruption and political treachery that this administration has perpetrated. Even if he has one day left in office, he deserves to be held accountable for his actions.
This should not be limited to the president. Vice-president Dick Cheney should also be included in any articles for impeachment. His duplicity in this administration needs to be held to account as well. Both of these gentlemen have created a fiasco at home and abroad, as well as creating a climate of dishonesty.
We have an administration that should be removed from office. Our forefathers created a peaceful, lawful method to remove the President and the Vice-President. I think the time for impeachment is now.

Well Said, One Lone Punk. I would just add that Cheney is far more important on this impeachment thing and possibly more vulnerable.
Just bear in mind that if Bush was removed first and Cheney was left with his finger on the bomb button the entire human species would be greatly at risk. I would appreciate your further thoughts on this. High Octane Okie
